Industry standard for welded pipe manufacturing
The national and industrial standards followed by weld manufacturing mainly include the following aspects:
一,national standard
1.Weld appearance quality standard:
①《welding appearance quality grade》: specifies the classification and requirements of welding appearance quality grade, including geometric defects on the weld surface, unqualified areas on the surface, surface burrs and splashing.
GB/T 7999-2014《Evaluation Standard for Appearance Quality of Welded Structural Members》: It is mainly applicable to welded structural members made of metal materials, and specifies the evaluation standard for appearance quality, including weld shape, surface quality, burr and skin defects.
2.Weld size and form and position tolerance standard:
①《 Tolerance of welding dimensions》: specifies the calculation methods and requirements of welding dimensions and geometric tolerances, including weld height, weld width, weld spacing and joint angle.
②GB/T 1804-2000《Limited Deviation of Steel for Mechanical Engineering》: It is mainly applicable to welded structural members made of metal materials, and specifies the evaluation standards of their dimensions and shape and position tolerances, including welded joints, welded components and assembly structures.
3.Technical standards for welding materials:
①GB/T 14957-2017《Technical Conditions for Welding Materials》: specifies the technical conditions for welding materials of metallic materials and nonmetallic materials, including covered electrode, welding wire, welding powder and shielding gas.
4.Weld quality and inspection standard:
①Weld quality standards usually require that the weld surface should be smooth, free of air holes, with little splash, and the weld leg size should meet the requirements.
②secondary weld shall be free from harmful defects visible to naked eyes.
③There shall be no defects such as cracks, air holes and slag inclusion in the welding area. If there are any defects, they shall be repaired according to corresponding methods.
