Mengcun area belongs to saline-alkali land, where the soil is alkaline and the geological conditions are poor, making it difficult for plants to survive. However, huayang steel pipe did not retreat, but actively responded. In the selection of tree species, we have carefully screened out alkali-tolerant and drought-tolerant varieties such as purple leaf plum, red leaf peach, begonia and weeping willow. These tree species are rooted in the land of Huayang, which not only adapt to the harsh natural environment, but also show good greening effect.

In order to improve the survival rate of trees, we adopted a series of scientific and effective measures. After planting trees, rooting agent is used to promote the growth of tree roots, water-retaining agent is used to keep soil moisture, and drip irrigation system is equipped to ensure water supply. For taller trees, protective brackets are installed to reduce shaking and help them take root and grow. Through these efforts, the survival rate of trees has stabilized at over 90%.

Huayang steel pipe attaches importance to greening not only in the centralized planting on Arbor Day, but also in the daily careful maintenance. We have a factory area of more than 1000 mu, with a vast green area. To this end, we implement regional management and implement the greening responsibility to each workshop. Each workshop regularly organizes employees to water, weed and kill insects to ensure that every green space can be taken care of. This responsibility-to-people management mode allows every employee to participate in the greening work and enhances everyone's awareness of environmental protection.

After years of tree planting and greening, Huayang Steel Pipe Factory has undergone remarkable changes. Greening has played a great role in dust reduction and effectively improved the air quality in the factory.
