In order to solve the problem of low efficiency of LSAW pipe, we introduced the "digital double-wire submerged arc welding system", which increased the welding speed from 0.3 m/min to 0.5 m/min, and adjusted the welding parameters in real time through AI algorithm, and the qualified rate of weld was increased from 98.5% to 99.8%. When 12,000 tons of DN800 LSAW pipes were produced for Sinopec in 2023, the original construction period of 40 days was shortened to 30 days, which met the lifting requirements of the project in advance.

For the problem of insufficient axial strength of SSAW pipe, we developed the "precise control technology of weld residual height", which controlled the weld residual height from the traditional 5mm to 3mm, reduced stress concentration, and at the same time adopted "internal and external double welding + secondary ultrasonic flaw detection" to ensure that there were no defects in the weld. In the medium-pressure steam pipeline project of a chemical industry park in Shandong in 2024, our SSAW pipe successfully withstood the working pressure of 4MPa, which broke the client's cognition that SSAW pipe can only be used in low-pressure scenes.
