Product Description

ERW Steel Pipe with 3PE/FBE Anti-corrosion Coating adopts high-frequency electric resistance welding (ERW) steel pipe as the base material, equipped with two mainstream anti-corrosion solutions: 3-layer polyethylene (3PE) and fusion bonded epoxy (FBE) coating. Manufactured in accordance with API 5L, GB/T 9711, GB/T 23257, ISO 21809 series standards, the base pipe features high dimensional accuracy, uniform wall thickness and excellent weld integrity. After strict surface pretreatment and professional coating construction, the finished pipe combines the mechanical strength of ERW pipe and outstanding anti-corrosion performance of 3PE/FBE layers.

3PE coating delivers superior impact resistance, water isolation and soil corrosion resistance, ideal for general buried pipelines. High-frequency ERW technology ensures smooth weld seam, stable mechanical performance and precise dimensional tolerance. Compared with other pipe types, ERW steel pipe has high cost performance, uniform roundness and straightness, convenient cutting and on-site installation. After post-weld stress relief and 100% non-destructive testing, the pipe body is free from cracks, porosity and other defects, fully meeting the load-bearing and pressure-bearing requirements of conventional and medium-pressure pipeline projects.

3PE Coating Performance

Three-layer polyethylene composite coating forms a dense protective structure. It has excellent waterproof permeability, anti-soil extrusion, anti-gravel impact and aging resistance. It can resist the erosion of groundwater, soil and microorganisms, with a service life up to 50 years for long-term buried use. It is well compatible with cathodic protection systems, and the coating will not peel or delaminate under long-term buried stress.

FBE Coating Performance

Fusion bonded epoxy coating is formed by high-temperature curing, featuring ultra-strong adhesion with steel substrate. It shows prominent resistance to acid, alkali, salt and various chemical solvents, and excellent cathodic disbondment resistance. The coating is thin but dense, suitable for narrow construction spaces, high-temperature working conditions and severely corrosive environments such as chemical plants and marine projects.
